We are pleased to inform you that St. James School is launching a STEM Club for students in grades 6-8. This club is for any student who has expressed an advanced interest in the sciences and technology.  Club members will have the opportunity to participate in more detailed laboratory experiments, hands-on STEM projects, and meet with scientists and engineers to learn about careers in the sciences.

STEM Club will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 3:45pm to 4:30pm after school in room 208, with the first meeting to be held on September 5.  A lab fee of $30 will be requested from each club member. STEM Club membership will be restricted to the first 30 students who express interest. Classroom behavior and the ability to commit to being at all or most of the meetings may also be a consideration. Communication with parents occurs quickest via email, so please include your email address below, along with a phone number. Students are expected to be picked up promptly after the meetings at 4:30pm on the west side of the building; failure to comply could result in removal from the STEM Club.  Attendance will be taken each week. Parents will be notified if a students fails to attend meetings.
