Saint James School strives to unlock a child’s gifts and talents within a rigorous curriculum directed toward teaching the whole child. The school seeks to foster each child’s capacity for success, developing skills and competencies needed for the 21st Century.

Saint James School took home a first-place finish at St. Viator High Schools’ Scholastic Bowl on Wednesday, October 16. They competed against 12 other teams in the area.

The students answered questions in science, math, literature, social studies, and fine arts. With a round-robin style, Saint James School tied with teams from St. Raymond and St. Emily’s but won overall with the most total points!

Saint James Scholastic Bowl team members include; PJ McLeod, Michael O’Connor, Ben Sheldon, John Hutchison, and Angel Hernandez. The team is coached by Saint James 7th & 8th Grade Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Esquivel. Congratulations, Bulldogs!
