FACULTY / STAFF
Mrs. Resch began teaching at Saint James in 2002 and became a teacher in 1997 because she loves working with children. She believes children learn best through hands-on activities. Mrs. Resch uses center-based learning and all activities are differentiated to meet the different needs of each student – not every kindergartner learns in the same way or is at the same level. Mrs. Resch encourages creativity in the classroom through center-based learning and makes learning fun through a wide offering of activities.
Mrs. Resch graduated from the University of South Dakota in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood. She also has a Special Education Endorsement from Morningside College.

Miss Courtney Ryan
Miss Ryan joined Saint James in 2017 and has always known she has a strong passion for teaching. She believes that all children need love and respect in order to succeed and hopes that being part of Saint James will further encourage her passion for teaching and working with young children. She strives to make the learning process both engaging and hands-on for each student through centers, games, and interactive activities. She believes it is important to understand that each child learns differently and using differentiation in everyday instruction is the key to running a successful classroom.
