How to Have a Great Year

Come prepared.  Do your best.  Listen. Be polite and considerate. Pay attention. Make good choices. Be neat.  If the teacher writes something on the board, put it in your notes.  Don’t procrastinate.  Smile.  Do your homework.  Use your planner.  Study for your tests. Say “please” and “thank you.”  Don’t talk if someone else is speaking.  Relax. Ask questions if you don’t understand. Be respectful. Be honest.  Include everyone.  Be nice to your classmates and your teacher!!  Eat a good breakfast and go to bed early so you are well-prepared for school. Make your parents proud.   Have a positive attitude…you will love 6th grade!
