School Council

The School Council is comprised of ten members who serve rotating three-year terms. The Council’s purpose is to serve as advisor to the pastor and principal on school finances; act as the marketing and recruiting arm for the school; provide recommendations for the school's information technology plan; investigate development and advancement opportunities for the school; manage the SJS Alumni Association; monitor the implementation of the recommendations of the School Improvement Plan and support the efforts of archdiocesan legislative action.

Each May the Council chooses new members through a discernment process.  Parents are invited and encouraged to join one of the School Council committees to lend your energy, ideas and expertise to the Council.
