Bulldogs Raise $2,000 For Pat Mac’s Pack

On Monday, November 18 Saint James students, faculty and staff rallied together to raise money for Pat Mac’s Pack. Pat Mac’s Pack is a charitable organization established in memory of Patrick Thomas McNamara, who died at the age of 13 after an eleven year battle with recurrent brain tumors. The main purpose of Pat Mac’s Pack is to raise funds for pediatric brain tumor research. These funds will be used to support various projects including drug research and development, and the advancement of novel surgical procedures used to treat pediatric brain tumors. The organization also provides funds to assist young cancer patients and their families. In addition, our foundation works to raise awareness about the devastation of this disease.

Students and staff who donated $2 were able to come to school out of uniform and wear their favorite sports jersey. Saint James School was able to raise $2,000 in the honor of John Thomas, the nephew of 4th grade teacher Ms. Thomas! Keep up the fight, John! You are #BulldogStrong .
