Parents:  Please read carefully to complete the necessary form(s) applicable to your child(ren).

(1) ALL STUDENTS:  EVERY St. James School Student must have a signed St. James School Acceptable Use Policy agreement annually.  All Parents/Guardians and students must review the AUP then sign the corresponding AUP agreement form below.

 

(2) Students entering Grade 3 and NEW Students in Grade 3-8:  All students in Grades 3-8 will utilize Google Suite for Education. Parents/Guardians with a student entering third grade, or any parent/guardian of a NEW SJS student must sign the corresponding GSuite permission form below

 

(3) Students in Grades 7 and 8:  All Seventh and Eighth Grade students will be loaned a school managed iPad for educational use.  Parents/Guardians whose student is entering 7th or 8th grade, please read and review the St. James School iPad Program Guide & Care Agreement with your student, then sign the corresponding iPad agreement form below.

Expressing consent on this form certifies that you have read the St. James School Acceptable Use Policy with your child(ren) and agree to the expectations and responsibilities of technology use on the St. James campus.



GSuite for Education Permission Form

Please complete this form for your THIRD-GRADE student or any NEW student.
  • St. James School supports the use of GSuite for Education accounts for students and teachers. The use of Google Apps supports our desire to have students create, collaborate, communicate, and use critical thinking skills in the learning process. GSuite applications allow students to create and share word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet documents online, and to collaborate with both peers and teachers on projects. Students are able to log into their St. James School Google Apps account at home, the library, or anywhere where Internet access is available.  Teachers are able to log into their accounts to provide feedback to students at any time and anywhere an Internet connection is available.

     

    All students will be assigned a username@stjamesschoolah.org user account. For 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, this account will be used for account login purposes only and the E-mail functionality will be disabled. Only 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will have E-mail functionality enabled. Your initial agreement and signature for Google Apps for Education will apply for the duration of your child’s enrollment at St. James School.
