FROM THE DESK OF MRS. PAT FARRELL, DIRECTOR OF SPIRITUAL FORMATION

We are but a few days away from the joy of Easter. Yet, to reach that sublime gift for all who believe, we must enter into the Passion of Christ. So no matter where you are next week , please consider finding a church to commemorate the Triduum- Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday.  Notice the significance of this time–on Holy Thursday, before He leaves us in a physically form, He gives Himself to us in an everlasting form.

Having taken care of our ongoing need for His presence among us through the Eucharist, Jesus then gives Himself up for our salvation through the Cross.

On Holy Saturday we are left to ponder the meaning and deepen our understanding of the paschal mystery.

Only then, can we burst forth with sharing in the joy of the Resurrection.

This is my prayer for you and your families this Easter, 2018:

      EASTER ALLELUIA

Three short days ago the unthinkable happened

Our “amen”,  Our belief, became our Joy!

As people of Faith, drawn together as only God can choose,

We are gifted with the full meaning of the Easter “Amen”

“I believe – and from that comes eternal joy – “Alleluia”

Now we, are that “Amen”, that “Alleluia” in the world

For we are forever “Together in God’s Service”

Amen , Alleluia
