BRAVO  to the Bulldog Chorus for a successful performance at the Chicago Wolves game this past Saturday. SJS is so proud of the way the students sang and behaved while waiting for their performance, and while watching the game. They really did an amazing job! Thank you to Mrs. Luehr for providing this unique opportunity for our singers!


ASPIRE Testing for grades 3-8 is scheduled for the week of April 9-13. Please refrain from appointments that may keep students from school on those days.

    Children’s Rosary is held every Monday at 4:00 in the Chapel.


Eucharistic Adoration is held every Thursday in Church from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm

One of the most common traditions of Lent is to pray the Stations of the Cross. This prayer helps us reflect on the passion and death of Christ in preparation for Good Friday observance and the Easter celebration. Click here to see details on the parish website and add an hour of this prayer to your schedule on Fridays at 7:30. You are also welcome to join the school children who pray the Stations on Friday afternoons at 2:45.

All School Mass – Friday, April 13         Parents’ Club will proudly host our all school mass on 4/13 at 9:00 a.m.  Thank you to parents who offered to take part in the mass!  We’re still looking for more parents to join our music ensemble.  Please email if you’d like to join us!  All parents are welcome to come.  Join us after mass for coffee and donuts in the cafeteria.  Newly registered families are also invited and look forward to meeting other proud Bulldog families!


2018-2019 Room Parents    The 2018-2019 Room Parent signup form will be available after spring break.  Be sure to check the fodder for the link to serve as a room parent.  Being a room parent is so valuable to our teachers and students and you’ll earn plenty of opportunities to be present in the classroom.  Please consider offering your time as a room parent. SJS LOVES our room parents!!

Ages: Pre-K 4 (must be 4 yrs old by 9/1) – entering 5th grade

Cost: $30.00 per child

Registration: Opens in April and space is limited.

Volunteers are Needed!

If you are entering 6th grade through high school we need your help in the Vacation Bible School crews and stations. Service hours are available.

If you are an adult we would love to have you join us as leaders for stations or teens.

Whether you can spare 1 day or a whole week, come join the VBS fun while sharing your talents in ministering to our St. James Youth.

FESL Volleyball camp offers individual attention to detail. We stress correct
technique in all phases of the game. We will work in depth with each skill: serving, serve receive, defense, setting and hitting. We will cover basics, along with offensive alignment (4-­‐2), court strategy and game situations.
